In 2022, I began exploring the powerful and personal nature of breast casting, inspired by a desire to celebrate and honor diverse body forms. My journey started with creating casts for individuals seeking to commemorate their unique beauty, whether it be before undergoing surgery, such as mastectomy or breast augmentation, or simply as an act of self-appreciation. Each casting session has deepened my understanding of how art can capture the intimate and transformative experiences of my subjects. The following gallery features my latest breast sculpture work circa 2024, crafted using alginate to faithfully replicate this sensitive area and cast in plaster. These pieces serve as both personal tributes and artistic explorations, celebrating the strength, vulnerability, and individuality of each person.
