In 2020, with my partner's help, I cast my own vulva on my back porch. I had an idea of transforming live casts into pottery, which eventually grew into an installation work at the Gallery 100 titled ‘Vulva Kitchen’. Since then, I have been diving deeper and deeper every time I step into my studio into ways I can honor other people's relationships with their bodies through art. The following galleries highlight my plaster sculpture work using alginate as a means to capture intimate parts of the human forms, and thus creating intimate art about our collective experiences.
